Kent Island United Methodist Church is committed to the well being of everyone in our community. In compliance with the CDC, State of Maryland and QAC health department, the following guidelines will be in place moving forward for all of our worship services:
1. Masks are optional. We will still have PPE supplies and hand sanitizer stations in place. Non-vaccinated persons are encouraged but not mandated to wear a mask indoors. This is the responsibility of the person, not the Church. If someone wants to wear a mask or does not want to wear a mask during worship, there will be no judgement or reservation from the Church.
2. Every pew is now open. Social-distant seating will remain in the chapel and Room #200.
3. All materials are back in the sanctuary.
The guidelines mentioned above were voted and decided on by the Servant Leadership Team and the clergy.
As we continue transitioning out of the pandemic, let us be sensitive to the needs of those around us. Please join us in prayer. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the leadership of our Church.
