Regular Weekly Gatherings

We meet up twice during the week and youth may join in any time (bring a friend!). Please click on the ROOTS Event Calendar button below because we occasionally change things up.​
  • Sunday Mornings at 11:00 AM - Come for a "Deep Dive" into the sermon: discuss how it may apply to our lives today. Also come for fun games and a snack.
  • ​​​​Wednesday Evenings at 6:30PM - Regular meeting of our Youth Group to discuss the Bible and enjoy games, crafts and snacks.

Summer Planning - Upcoming Events

June 26-30: Middle School Students' Victory Jam, New Jersey
Victory Jam is the Middle School Summer Camp of the Chesapeake Presbytery. Hosting regional 6th -8th grade students, Victory Jam is centered on the Gospel and fellowship with local churches within the Chesapeake Youth Network. Located at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference in New Jersey, this camp is full of exciting activities, church group times, worship, gospel-centered teaching, team competitions, and of course, plenty of time at the beach! ​We know it's mostly parents who check out Facebook, but it is a good way to see what we're up to!

Missions

Our Youth Group participates in many local, community service projects. We volunteer with local groups, including the Feed-A-Family Program in November, Haven Ministries, Kent Island Beach Clean Ups, etc.​​

Appalachia Service Project

​We will be partnering with the Appalachia Service Project, which brings together volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families. Read more.

While we won't have the exact location we are travelling to until late Spring 2023, we trust that God will send us to the exact location we are supposed to be to help the specific family we were meant to help! Click the button (right) for details!
